John Evans joined Donnelly & Associates in 2017 with more than twenty-five years of extensive civil trial experience primarily representing insured and self-insured defendants. Mr. Evans is experienced in handling premises liability, motor vehicle, insurance coverage and products liability matters. He has developed an expertise in representing bars and restaurants for dram shop and security claims. In the matter of Druffner v. O'Neill, 2011 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 31146 (E.D. Pa. Mar. 23, 2011), Mr. Evans successfully argued a licensed server of alcoholic beverages has no further duty to a visibly intoxicated patron once the patron is refused service. Mr. Evans has taken multiple large damage claims against defendants to verdict in federal and state courts in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He has argued appeals in both the federal and state courts in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey
